Tournament Sports

                                                                           BC/Yukon Tounament Sports

Every year competitive, torunament sports are organized for Legionnaires in good standing and members of the Ladies Auxiliary.  Provincial Playdowns and Championships are hosted by various Legion Branches and the winners advance to the Dominion Championships.

 Competitive, tournaments include:

• Curling
• Cribbage  
• Darts
• Euchre
• Slo-pitch
• Golf

REGISTRATION AND EXPENSES

A $200.00 entry fee is required for all sports except Euchre which requires a $100.00 fee.  These fees are used to offset expenses for those advancing to the Dominion Championships.

 Registration fees together with the two registration forms are forwarded to the appropriate Zone Commanders, who then submit the full registration packages to BC/Yukon Command.

 Expenses

Individuals are responsible for their own expenses relating to the BC/Yukon Command tournaments, which may be subsidized by the local Legion Branches or Ladies Auxiliaries.

 For individuals advancing to the Dominion Championships, return air fare is paid by BC/Yukon Command together with $200.00 to offset expenses.  As well these expenses may be subsidized by the local Legion Branches.
